Application Formats & Advice

Some things to consider when you write your application:

Your character is a prisoner enrolled in the Cryogenic Convict Labor Reserve program. This program began in 1998. It has continued on since this point, except from 2020 - 2049, due to the global collapse and warring years that followed. This means that your character could have been arrested and convicted of any crime from 1958 - 2020 to 2049 - 2194. This extends back to 1978 as prisoners could have opted for cryogenic reserve testing to potentially skip out on an especially long sentence, such as a life sentence. If you have been in jail for 40 years but expect to be there until you die, the Cryogenic Convict Labor Reserve program could offer you a potential way out of that. Plus, older subjects would prove useful for research.

However, note that it is unlikely a guy from 1964 frozen in 1998 would still be available in 2204. He would have probably been pulled already or potentially died from malfunctions or a badly projected "shelf life."

Keep this in mind when you write your application. If your guy is very "old," you better have a good application. We suggest most players go with a character who was born, raised, and arrested in our server's sci-fi future. You can get creative by fleshing out a colonial world or describing the life of a space pirate. You can fill in the blanks since our lore is fairly basic and vague.

Biggest piece of advice we have is to be creative and think things through.
